first dinner guests...and magazine sale

tonight we had our first dinner guests. P and T came up from TN with their daughter for dinner and a visit. we had pizza hut and BW3 and just enjoyed the company. the kids ran around and had fun. T is headed into surgery on wed for a double mastectomy...we will do all we can to support them during this tough time. She seems very hopeful and unafraid...breast cancer research has sure changed things for women our age....i am forever grateful for my two breast cancer survivors!!

......i am now the proud owner of a vera bradley bag...my folks decided that i needed to have what all the other women have...i'm looking forward to carrying it this fall....and you know what...it is machine washable!!
Aunt M...R got your envelope and i got my wonderful soap. Thank You!! and yes,,,,we will have your movies ready for return when you come down next month.:)
talked to friends the B's who have taken their 5 children and one inlaw to Maui...they are just fine and will only get some rain from Floxie...
poor Merv...it made me sad to hear he had passed away...i remember watching him after school when i was young. he was always funny...
so, mr k goes to school tomorrow and i am having starbucks with a new friend of mine who moved here from NJ...can't wait to go get some grown up time.
V made the volleyball team at school. they are a newer team so her experience will be welcomed. she is excited...is still on the fence about swimming however...will decide this week.
oooh, i'm very excited about the fact that down here the EWTN is on our cable. my GG loved that channel and i thought of her while i did the rosary today.
