happy girls

mom and B got in on Thursday late morning. we went to lunch at one of local 'famous' joints and then went to get big boy at school. i sent Papa and Nana into the room and stayed out in the hall. the lights were off (they were having some quiet time) and all of a sudden i heard 'PAPA!!!'..oh...i was crying!! so fun! we took the little one's home, and the grandparents were off to St. J's to surprise the big girls. they had their window sign all ready to go and got in the car pick up line. the principal calls the kids name with a bullhorn and tells them to go to a particular color spot on the ground. Nana had the camera already to go when she pulled up...her are the girls....so sweet eh? mom said that V cried. that night, R had a volleyball game that we went to and then today, the wee one's , nana and papa and i went to the mall so they could see where i will be working. Papa got himself and hubby some new polo shirts. i brought the little ones home and they went onto school for Grandparents Day. They had class visits and then Mass.

They all came home to my famous Pork and Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes....yummy....my best meal (and easiest). we hung out then to plan tomorrow.

in the morning, the boys are going to The Dinosaur Park and us girls are going to the flea market. i'm on the hunt for crosses. i have this giant wall - 8 feet or more and i'm thinking it would make a cool display wall for a collection of crosses. you know, like wrought iron, wood, interesting pieces. (i didn't think that up by the way = i was at a lady's house years ago that did a display like this above her fireplace)

time for me to get some kids to bed.

i'm happy, so very very happy ...
