more car trouble

man alive....i'm torn between being thankful that i have a cell phone now because this morning....all the lights in the van started blinking, my steering wheel wouldn't budge and a bell was dinging. i'm also thankful that at midnight there will be money in the bank to pay for a tow, rental and repairs....
it is interesting how....we can at times see blessings lingering around the inconveniences of life. Or, we can at least choose to look for the blessings rather than get all bent out of shape over the troubles that come and go.
so:
i'm thankful i have a cell phone (was able to call hubby to tell him i was in trouble)
i'm thankful that my hubby has some working knowledge of cars (helpful in diagnosing trouble)
i'm thankful for the work/paycheck that will post at midnight (it is a privilege to be able to work and contribute to society)

now: i wait to hear back from hubby as to when the rental car place will be dropping off a car. gotta get big boy at school at 2 and girls at 4.
