bathroom woes and dryer issues

hello and good morning..
weather is breaking and i'm loving it. all windows open in the evening...i just love it love it love it.
although, this rental home is really very nice, when we moved in, i noticed that there was some mould under wall paper in the shower area. YES, wall paper IN the bathroom...i mentioned it during our walk through to make sure it was noted..but was too overwhelmed to do anything else at that point.
we have been told (by our new doctor) that we (the family) may suffer from some geographic allergies for the first year as we get used to new polin and in particular the mould. when the doctor mentioned that, i decided that i would call the land lord to discuss what could be done about the mould in the bathroom.
i called the day after we got back from our adventure north and do you know, they were very responsive and have sent over a painter to remove the wall paper, treat the mould and paint the bathroom. he has been here the past two days. i'm wondering if he'll give me a choice of colour...or if he'll have to use builder beige. either way, i'm thrilled to know that our property manager is responsive.
on another note: our dryer stopped heating up yesterday. i noticed that the dryer had been running too long. i opened the door and noticed that it wasn't hot at all and the clothes were still wet.
the dryer is still under warranty (until Nov. 11th) so i have scheduled a service call for tomorrow...
