How lucky our R was to celebrate her birthday with her friends and family. She turned 10 years old on friday....it seems like at every turn we were singing happy birthday to her. the day came with some not so happy news though, she did not gain a part in the play that she auditioned for. she was disappointed but took the news like a champ. That evening she and I went to Logan's for dinner, went to Justice to buy a birthday outfit and got a new Build A Bear.
On saturday as you can see, we got together with some old friends from school and had cake and ice cream at the park. The girls had a good time playing on the climbers and taking hikes in the woods. Her friends are very generous and she got lots of nice gifts. I think the biggest gift was the opportunity to see her good friends K and A. They got to spend some private time at the movies on monday. Aunt S came along to babysit mommy!!
Hard to believe that 10 years ago i was becoming a mommy again!! What a blessing our R is to her father and i.
