day three

in bed for the day so far...(except for reading books with Mr. K while girls and i went to mass)
have just returned from getting hubby some rental movies...got a little something for everyone...
went to bookstore and got a 'book of useless information' type book for douglas to read - perfect snippets for in and out periods of awareness
took R to the mall - she chose to go ahead and get her ears pierced (again - they closed up in the second grade)
the big girls have Pride and Prejudice and Little Women to watch this afternoon and Mr. k and will enjoy James and the Giant Peach (secretly i'll be reading my book....The Pillars of the Earth...this was my second choice..i looked at two different stores for Naomi Klein's latest...to no avail....Republicans must run the bookstores down here...ha ...just kidding!!!) i'll have to make my way to Barnes...
R purchased a couple pairs of socks for her sister and a Captain Underpants book for herself.
it will be a quiet day for all of us...i like those kind of days.
I think that Douglas would love some hand written letters from anyone that cares to write.
