great time!!!

OH, i had a fantastic time last night!!!! the host's home is a former Parade home in a 'gated' community. WOW!!! the kitchen was to die for of course!!! and the master bedroom had a bathroom as large as my first floor here. oh boy!! lovely!!
all the women were friendly and inviting!! my rosary girlfriend Brandy drove to the party. i figured out that it was a 2nd grade mom's party. it just so happens that one of the moms has a 7th grader that is friends with V and she (the mom) invited me the other night at the christmas concert! sooooooo...there is the connection.
the ladies were very very sweet.....i met a mom from Boston so we talked about 'the south' and how different it can be. the food!!! oh the food...shrimp twice as big as my thumbs and these little brie cheese puff pastries....no tequilla so i stuck with beer...:) it really was a fabulous night!! i feel refreshed!! got home at 10 and douglas had gotten everyone to bed...of course R was waiting up for me....even sat in bed and read a chapter in my Mary book.
it is morning now, Faith and Dick just got on the road to go back to ohio. V is a swimteam practice, Mr. K has his trains strewn all over the floor and mini lu is coming down out of the high chair...soon enough i'm thinking we'll hear R singing her lungs out on her kareoki machine...ahhhhhhhhhhh....HOME!

i'm going to upload some video from the holiday concert and one of mr. k and his trains in just a minute...

douglas wanted me to tell you that the picture of him bald.(which if you watch the slide show to the right long enough you'll see him)...'i don't think of it as being bald, i think of it as having more head'!!!!

this time next week we'll be on the road to you!!! santa is going to stop by our house on saturday morning b4 we get on the road and douglas expects us to be on the road by noon! let the count down begin...
