the cookie exchange this afternoon went very well.
R and I wound up making two batches of Buckeys. The first batch just didn't hold up.
the second one (which we finished just b4 we had to leave) was better...but not perfect. i need to get my Aunt Pam's recipe...i think i remember her making them...
i was a bit nervous heading over to the party. outside of the woman who invited me i wasn't sure who i would know.
luckily as i entered the house i saw my two Rosary circle girls and immediatly felt at ease!!!! phew....
met a bunch of moms from school - one recognized me from work
there were nice little appetizers and a chocolate fountain!! yeah, so you know where i stood all afternoon!!! ha!
despite the less than perfect appearance of our Buckeyes, they were taken and that made R and I very happy.....
i don't think i'll make them again until i get some firm advice from my aunt pammy.
baby katharine was a big hit as usual...she walked through the crowds searching out purses to rumage through....(smile)
i'm thinking that we will not hear from V tonight...
i do hope she is having a good time!
she took her DVD player and the new Pirates movie for the girls to enjoy in their room.
Douglas and Koen went to the Train Museum to see the christmas display...and daddy held firm as they walked past the Thomas The Train section.....i would have folded....i should have told doug to look for Rosie...we are having a hard time finding her....
i wonder what Mini lu will be 'into'. my girlfriend gave me a bunch of little girl toys the other day...and i must admit it is sweet to see the baby dolls but you all know...Barbie is a TRAMP!!! so don't be buying my mini lu a barbie..i don't care if she can pilot a spaceship and pull teeth!! she is still a tramp!!
i'm waiting for R to come down stairs...she is missing her sister....i'm NOT Missing the bickering!!

Sounds like your Sunday was quite busy. Buckeyes are not easy to master....why don't you try No Bakes (they're my favorite)
Exercise class....You Go Girl!!!! I re-upd at California Fitness. Too bad just paying the dues doesn't do any good. Unfortunately I just gotta go. Maybe this week or next....definately after the first of the week.
How is Douglas feeling? Is he sleeping any better? How are his legs?

I have a super recipe for Buckeye's if you'd like to try it. I made some with Lauren, Erin and Adam. They were my little rollers. It was great. They turned out perfect.
