just got home from getting douglas snuggled in for his day of chemo.
he had his dvd player, roast beef subway sub, ipod with christopher colbert book loaded and of course his camera...
visit with doctor went well.
we reviewed the 'Master Plan for Maximum Benefit'
discussed what and when scans will be done (last week in jan, MRI of tailbone and CT of chest)
dr. is pleased with blood/bone marrow..all are normal
we were assured that the method of treatment we are following is the BEST plan.

big girls have done a great job with the wee ones this morning. they received a nice starbucks for their hard work!!
i'm now off for my dentist to hopefully resolve the continued pain i'm having with the temporary cap.
^^^^^^^update: got two shots of novicain (NO EPI this time...but she did ask if i wanted that 'buzz' again...ha!) no evidence of absess, could be reaction to cement, the damage is very close to the nerve...used a different type of cement, got prescriptions for antibiotics...if that doesn't work,,will need to go with root canal!! ugg...lets hope not!! am home now....waiting on douglas to call!!

will go back to pick hubby up when he calls to tell me that 'they have hung his last bag'....

Glad Doug did well as expected. Dr. sounds like he is on top of it, and that is good. Don't let the Dr. get off the top of it!!!!!
