Hubby left the ground about an hour ago headed for MN. He will be attending a C-leg certification class. see the pic above for what a C-leg looks like.
he will be there until tues. thanks to P and T who are keeping the van for him and taking him on over to the airport!! and picking him up!!
he assures me that he is wearing a mask for the airplane ride!
his oncology doc. insisted that he wear a mask...he is only two weeks out of chemo which puts his immunities low, on an airplane and flying in flu season!! he complied!!
i know it must be weird to wear one...but..safety first right? too bad we didn't take the time to decorate it....ha!
the kids and i will wrap up school this week, get some dental work done (yeah, you never asked how my visit went....it went so well that i need two crowns and a filling)!! get the house and laundry in order and then do Santa and head for home!!
for those in EMO,,,i've asked joy to borrow a highchair and baby gate...if anyone has one they can spare for the holiday it would be a huge help not to have to bring mine... mini lu is all over the place...!! give her a buzz would you???
i heard the MOM's christmas party was nice!! oh how sad i got when i heard i had missed you all!!! Please tell me some of you carried on the tradition of staying up way too late outside on KY's front portch and just stumbled home and into bed in the wee wee hours of the morning!!!
I also understand that we have a Broadway bound gal in our midst that had a great night that night! can't wait to hear more about both!!
i'm going to get some finger foods together for the survivor finale.

I am so proud of Douglas. I am proud of all my B Team. I pray his flight there and back is germ free!!!
It's Monday - almost Saturday and you'll be home. We've got the house pretty much K&K protected. I'm sure one or both will find something we forgot. That's ok...as long as you're all home.

douglas sat next to a doctor (eye doc) and did wear his mask. his can of Ensure set off the metal detectors at the airport..he just called on his lunch break..is having a nice time and eating well!
