just as last time, the chemo has taken about 36 hours to kick in
douglas has 'assumed the position' on the bed and we'll see him in about 24 hours.
he is resting comfortably (covered by the prayer quilt from Rosie's parish)
his face is a bit swollen which i don't remember last time
but he is not as hot as he was last time.
the reaction to the chemo may change with each dose.
he ate very well yesterday..gotta fill that belly for the hibernation period of the next day..tons of tuna fish salad and then we had
pot roast, baked potatoes and corn on the cob for dinner last night.
Rose and i did take the kids to Beech Bend Park for the winter lights. it was a drive-thru display and then you parked and went into the amusement park where they had some rides open and a petting zoo and gift shoppe.
the bumper cars seemed to be the biggest hit
i liked the petting zoo...there were some lambs in there that i have never seen before..they looked like tedddy bears...very strange but cute!!
Mini lu decided to sleep through until morning which i think we are all grateful for.
Mr. K slept with daddy and i since he is a big boy now and DOES NOT have a binky.
He gave his binky to Santa Clause yesterday!!!
truth be told.....keeping him with us allowed mini lu to get some sleep since sleeping an entire night without a binky was going to be a challenge.
He did fabulously!!!! he has however spent all morning on the look out for binkys around the house!!
Rose found him up stairs in a corner with one....
was funny!!!! too bad we didn't have the camera ready...that would have been funny!
so, now we are off to Mass and then mr. k has his Christmas show at school this afternoon.

Hi B Team:
Saturday's dinner sure sounded good. Glad you enjoyed the lights. It's raining here with thunder. Finally got the tree up in its new stand - and the 2 gals of water from soaked up from the carpet. Yes .... next year no more live trees that need watered or bases with leaks.
My love to all!!!

When Adam gave up his binkey he left it on the plate for Rudholf. Worked like a charm.
Hope Doug feels much better tomorrow. He needs some TLC.
God Bless and much love:
