TGIF everyone!!
Nothing special going on around here..
loving the fact that we are just living the normal - everyday life.
Lu down for her nap, Mr. K has couch cushions and trains all strewn about...me wondering what i should make for dinner and thinking that i really should be scrubbing the bathroom instead of posting....I did at least get the bed clothes changed!!!
The girls both have practice tomorrow and then Phil and Tina are coming up for the evening.
Tina has graciously agreed to allow me to leave all four children at her place so that i can attend the doctors apt. on tuesday with douglas!! Thank You Tina!! Of course the girls won't mind getting out of school early! :)
I'm feeling very positive today!
despite the rain...i can see our rainbow!
** i learned a southern 'expression' the other day.
'can't hear thunder'
that means hard of hearing...
a mom stopped by the other afternoon and we were talking about her mother in law and my girlfriend said....'and she can't hear thunder'....and i began thinking about the last time we had a storm and why that would be such a big deal to not hear the thunder...unless of course they don't have tornado sirens because they are too far away from the city.... and ....and....
...i must have given her a queer look because the poor thing had to stop and explain to me that her MIL is hard of hearing.
I know she thinks me an idiot!
