so glad to be there!

i know you've all been waiting to see pics and hear about our pep ralley for Hillary. Miss R and i are just back and the event proved to be a fantastic opportunity to see the community come together and listen to the woman i firmly want in the White house.
we took pictures and recorded much of her speech. i will upload those as i can (they are probably too long for blogger..but we'll see)
The weather was fabulous, sunny and breezy...the event was easy to get into and to find a seat. one thing i've learned from our relationships with disabled friends is the ADA seats are ALWAYS the best....so i found those and planted our chairs right behind those! We were able to stand unobstruced and see Hillary the whole time. Miss. R was taken with all the secret service guys/gals running around. You have to admit...they do look COOL all dudded up in their blue suits and dark shades!!!

I hope you will take a minute to watch and listen to the parts of the speech i was able to record. I like what she has to say about the oil industry and the educational system. (i hope i got that)

Hey V its sam w. You are so lucky you get out today. We dont get out until June 5th. Next friday(May 30) is field day and this time they will play music during it.On June 2nd the room mothers and us are giving the 8th grade class a breckfast. Its kind of for both classes though because it is a good luck and goodbye to the 8th grade but they are also passing the responsibility to us(dont know how thats going to turn out). We did a play called wonderland with the 8th grade. It was pretty much Alice in Wonderland but with cool music and more characters. I had 5 parts. I was mothers voice, a responsibility,a dixie chicken, a tourist, and a red pawn. Sami was the Red Queen and she did really good. When you come up for the funfest i will let you listen to the cd.

Cant wait to see you,
Sam w
