late into our movie we got a call from girlfriend J. she says, if you are all up to it come on over for swimming and bbq....she was throwing together a little shin dig for the afternoon for all the dads. with our daddy being up at 4:30 i wasn't sure how the energy level would hold out so just told her we'd play by ear!! well, the Bteam mustered up and packed up the pool bags and dish to share and we headed out.
SIX hours later we were home!! can i tell you we had a FABULOUS time! a truly memorable day!!

kids all had a wonderful time running around
some of the wee ones were convinced that a meteor had struck...when they discovered a huge hole in the ground (friend J had really had a tree removed from the yard..but how proud were the moms to think that the kids would think up such a thing)
we had full bellies as we headed home!

Looks like a perfect Father's Day (for mom too :) We had a cookout at my nephews and it was nice to spend time with all the "dads" yesterday
