I liked what the book said ok, but i really LOVE what Mr. Pausch has to say here. I believe that MY HUBBY fits the bill!!!
I love you Douglas!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doug did a lot of cool things -> portray a role in a musical, sail around the gulf, defend our country in a time of war. Doug is passionate! He has been lucky enough to really KNOW his calling and be able to LIVE it! He changes peoples lives Daily! Those of us who have had a political discussion with him after a beam n coke KNOWS how Passionate he can be! Most of his friends KNOW how passionate he is about his tools!!!! and, as for self sacrifice....here is the man that has denied himself time with us in order to prepare for better life, a man who worked full time while attending college full time and gained acceptance into a program of 45 when hundreds applied.! He is us and we are him!
