Monday Monday...da da...dadada....

My big girl arrived safely last night. Came home with all kind of goodies and wonderful memories a big thank you to our friends down south for showing her such a wonderful time!! We are ready to reciprocate any time!!

The weekend found us at Michaels shopping for the framing and matting of our large family portrait!!! It finally arrived from the photographer in SC. I'm so excited for you all to see it!!! The weekend also found me picking up Lu's saddle shoes. I still can't believe that i had to special order them.....i just think that is crazy...

R's team continues to work on their volleyball skills and team coordination.

Mr. K thinks he should be living in the house two doors down....that young man asks if he can go down the street the minute he wakes up!!! He did have a fun afternoon with some of his new preschool friends who took him to the zoo after school on Friday. It was so sweet...such a big boy!!

My gram was once again stalking me....as long as i can remember she would get after me about the fact that i didn't know how to play cards. she seriously thought that i was lacking in social graces b/c i did not know how to play card games. My hubby has always enjoyed a good card game...but alas i never learned how to play that game euchre?? a couple girls (who will remain nameless) forced me out of bed to go join them as they finished their 'last hand'. I felt the shame as i walked into the house....i had absolutely no idea what the heck they were doing...it wound up being ok cuz i got to see Janet Jackson play Condi Rice.

I read through the Bill O'Reilly book i got for V...it is especially written for teens. and i picked up a couple things that i won't tell about....but...Santa found the clearance rack at Barnes....!! i love love love a bookstore....and i tell myself all the time that i really need to just go there...get a coffee and sit in one of those leather chairs and read.....but..i must admit...i do get a little skeeved at the thought of how many people have got all down and comfy in those chairs....

Hubby spent most of his time relaxing. The days following a chemo drip are exhausting. that coupled with his daily 3:30 dose of chemo has put the moves on him this weekend. We continue to work through pain management...some days are better than others....

The week coming will be a big one...two of our children will celebrate birthdays. Lu will turn two on tuesday...(happy birthday also to TC...who is way older than two :) and my Ms. R will be turning a duplicate digit midget. she will be 11....her daddy and i will take her out to look for a new bicycle sometime this week!! Lu is in love with anything 'baby'...and pretend kitchen...so she is getting baby gear and pretend food.... later on in the month hubby will also be celebrating a birthday....i'll have to see if he'll tell you WHICH birthday it is...ha!


This morning will be our second meeting of our rosary circle!! I'm hoping all the girls come back.(will miss you EB)...it really was a nice time...and fyi ALL STALKERS WELCOME!!! 9:30 my house/backyard!!

well, i really need to get a girl scout newsletter printed off. Our younger troop has been a little slow on the uptake....however...we'll get there...
