about 1 am this morning hubby was given a room in the James. it is a double occupancy room....(guy is leaving soon) but again we are against the wall/window...God is Good!! we are on the 9th floor and our window looks out toward the East....so...i can still see you all...was a pretty sunrise this morning.
the night was restless for hubby. he kept disconnecting himself from the iv and going to the bathroom....his way of disconnecting is not the nurses way and he has quite a little mess on teh side of his bed and some splatters on his sheets and socks.
at 6am a nurse and i found him back in the bathroom.
the pain meds have given quite the run for his money as far as going number 2...so docs are going to step up the roto rooter meds!! this makes me happy....he's been straining way too much.
at 7 i went down to get myself some coffee and diet coke!! gotta get the Pepsi people over here!!! only coke products....got hubby his milk so i can mix up his weight on shakes when he wakes up.
hubby remains quite disoriented and is talking up a storm....this is truly more than i've ever heard him talk (without a beam and coke in him that is) SO MANY of you are obviously in his thoughts b/c he is talking about you, the beach, movies that he has seen, guns that he likes to shoot, buying pants with suspenders....but when asked the date/day and who i am he gets clear!!!
at 9 the 'fellow' came into to give us the run down. she feels that the confusion could be metobolic or perhaps a reaction to pain meds...the clots and his platelets remain primary on her list of priorities. as well as a resolution to the constipation.
in about an hour i have an OB apt and will run out for that, then i'll run home to see my wee ones and then most likely wait for the big girls and bring everyone up to see daddy on our way to our counseling apt.
another doc just in and also his nurse practitioner... everyone seems to be on board with what is going on....
feel good about that!
if anyone is reading....feel free to give my house a call to check in on the grandparents...my cell phone is not charged...
i will check back in with you later on in the day!!
hubby says 'don't leave without me'.....(i asked him if he has a message for you all!!)
we are also in the process of finding out how we get our Vote Out!! :)

I checked on Grandpa! What a handsome voice!
K and Lu are running around the house. Girls got to school and he is fine.
Someone will be there at noon.
I heard Doug got his own room!
