what a super fantastic evening we had!!
supper at one of our favorite haunts Max N Erma's. me-the erma burger and he-mushroom melt....we had time to just sit and enjoy our meal and then had time to sit out and people watch on one of the benches outside a cute little Tea shoppe.
hubby has wanted to see this flick called Miracle at St. Anna since this summer and the opportunity presented itself last night so that is what we saw.
A statue winner for sure for mr. spike lee...
an incredible story, an incredible cast, and incredible set...
when the lights came up we were both crying....and even on the drive back home hubby was still spillin' a tear or two.
we give it a big thumbs up!!
heard from OSU today and hubby is scheduled tomorrow (thurs) for a thoracic drain. this drain will allow fluid that has built up in the lung to illiminated and allow the docs to get a better picture of the tumor. this drain should also help with pain management. It is an outpatient procedure: hubby in for blood work at 9am and then the surgery is at 10.....
i'm not sure how long this will take...but will post just as soon as i can!!
