chicago...one railway tie at a time...

Practically Perfect in Every Way!! that is a line from Mary Poppins and it is also a line to describe our wonderful little troop of Girl Scouts. they were unbelievably well behaved...not that they are normal a naughty group of girls...but...ya' know...pubescent girls...long car rides and close quarters...heck, that ain't easy for big girls...much less 6/7th graders!!

since last Fall, these girls have been planning and fund raising for a Chicago trip. Pie making/ candy sales (2X), Magazine and cookies sales in addition to Car washes have kept then busy earning funds.

our head leader Christine is Fabulous and really headed off all of the paperwork/administrative details and pulled this all together.

Mystic Blue Dinner Cruise
Science Museum
Lunch at Beef And Brandy Diner
First class hotel accommodations at The Hyatt


we have already begun talking about a ski trip in February.....Utah perhaps??/

UPDATE::

i am having trouble uploading pictures....and...girlscouts didn't all sign release for photo taking..so i'll have to smudge the faces....that will take a lot of time...
so...
suffice it to say..i do have pictures of me et al in front of Chanel suits....And i was wearing my pearls!!!!!!
