We have arrived back home safe and sound.
we are all brown berries and super duper pooped!
special thanks to Allison for staying at the house and a congrats on her new job.
special thanks to Catharine and Joy for coming so late to the airport to pick us up...

makes me stop and pause when i think about the fact that it takes two vehicles to get us all home..

There were nothing but Smiles and Canadian French folks there. Sure did have me wishing that friend EB/RB were there to translate for me. Actually, there were enough English speaking folks that it was ok...sure did get the feeling of being somewhere other than Florida..which...was pretty cool!!

temps were above 90 everyday...which meant you were dry five minutes after getting out of the pool. which meant i was in the pool a whole lot more than i am here.

wee ones participated in their mini camps sun - tues and loved loved it...i'd swear when we'd go get Katharine she was singing french songs...she and Mr. K both had a great time. there were treasure hunts and hip hop shows to dodge ball games and air guitar contests. this resort was truly family/kid friendly..!!!

sunday my dear ol' friend Dawn met me at the resort and spent the day with me. we got ourselves a picture of mimosa and spent the day reminiscing by the adult pool. we haven't seen each other since i had mr. k so we had a ton to catch up on. we had a great day and then met her boyfriend at a restaurant on the Ocean for a lovely evening meal. so very very nice to catch up after all this time.

nanny A took great care of the big girls and kept them entertained and busy the whole time. they did golfing and sailing and even one day all of us big girls went to the circus school and did the trapeze. i tell you...that is way way harder than it looks....hats off to those circus folks. i'll see if i can load the video.

the meals were spectacular and i (of course) looked forward to each meal as it was a different theme each night. the French nite was perhaps my favorite...ate frog legs and leg of lamb....wee ones got to enjoy ice cream with each meal and i really really enjoyed having coffee after supper each nite. not in the habit of making coffee any more so late...

the airplane rides there were great...the one home was a bit more difficult as ms. K was not interested in sleeping during the second leg. thank goodness for Nanny who was prepared with coloring book and crayons...

i can say that the resort is a bit dated....but due for a face lift this fall...i was pleased overall and had a wonderful time. i would return but perhpas visit a different Club Med location...i'm totally sold on the All Inclusive theory....vacation to me = no cooking!!!
