ally mcbeal season 5 episode 5 i want love

Jenny's mother comes to hire the firm to take her wrongful termination case. She's being fired from her job for dating a 20 year-old. Jenny wants Ally to purposely lose the case but Ally can't do that. The case ends up serving as a mirror to Ally and Glenn's relationship. Ally's closing makes Jenny change her mind and she accepts her soon-to-be step-father. Glenn tries to reach Ally, but Ally, as always, is afraid she's going to end up broken hearted. Meanwhile, Ling looks for more exciting cases for her show and brings an entire orchestra to her court. Richard obsesses with Ms. Shaw's waddle, but Francis shows him he's way out of her league.


I loved the show Ally Mcbeal. It was cute and so not what i was getting as a young corporate executive..but hey...
it was on Ally's season 5 that i learned that the skin that hangs down from a womans neck is called a waddle. maybe i had heard the word b4 but it wasn't a word that had krept into my body definition dictionary.
but not long after having a second child...and just getting resized as an official mother..no turning back...boobs will sag now...and without surgery there is no way in hell your stomach will ever look like it did in the 80's..no matter how many sit ups you do..i came to discover my very own waddle.

mine has always been pretty...i don't know...full...so it doesn't really swing like a really old skinny lady's does...but it is deffintely there. when i see those commercials for 'the' Quick Lift..i always think...ahhhh thats the way to get rid of this God awful waddle.

well,,,,i have to share that last night...while out at a fund raiser...a gentleman that i had struck up a conversation with (and his friend) actually reached out..winked at me and touched my waddle.

NO SHIT....

the Stanley Cup ring on his hand flashed when he did it...(no joke)
it was a quick touch
almost meant to be unintentional...

but....
it wasn't...
i know it wasn't unintentional...
this man was having his Richard moment...
and my name ain't mrs shaw...!!!

i let it go..
i was having a good time actually..
he and his buddy were friendly and kind
not weird or smarmy..

my ego was boosted a bit...

but this morning while i was running..
i had a small flash back..
that is what i like about running..
i can process information..


that man....

that man....

that man actually touched my waddle..
and ...
and...

i think he liked it!!
gulp....

will be looking for Quick Lift coupons...!!! ha!!
