end of the week

we've made it to the end of week 1 and still have hair!
although, I am NOT The only person out there that is worried that my hubby would up and get an Elmer Fud hat because this week he received a Tommy hat, a Nautica hat, an OSU hat and from our friends in Disney, a pair of Mickey Mouse Rastafarian ears. Hubby's mom sent enough OSU hats for all of us, i think i'm going to take them over to the embroidery place in the mall and have them labeled with our B-Team...hubby's sister E is knitting a cap as well. Heck, he'll have one for each day...
G&G B will be here until tomorrow. this evening we stayed in and had some KFC.
There was a youth group dance at church that V went to.
Douglas is holding his own. he stayed up late this evening again but says he is extra tired.
tomorrow we are getting together with Phil and Tina to nail down our Thanksgiving Day menu. My father will be in town from NJ to help celebrate next week.
i'm also cracking and going out to purchase a blow up mattress.
i swore from the first time the girl scouts slept in the school gym that i would NEVER own one...they are squeaky loud and every woman i ever observed over those several years snored like heck while sleeping on them!!TEE HEE HEE...but NOT you Amy Z!!but then, if THEY were asleep and I was the one observing...who was the fool??? hmmmmm
Kmart here i come!!
goodnight to all my stalkers!!!
i miss you all terribly....
oh wait, b4 i sign off, let me tell you that today we received a homemade picture frame from Christa and Justin, in it is a copy of the 'thumbs up' picture of douglas and i on chemo day, there is a small plaque on the frame that says. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. is that beautiful? i cried of course when i opened it. at first i put it on the piano,,but then i went and put it on doug's dresser, right at his eye level where he puts his wallet and change each day. it is interesting that you did that, because when the nurse took this picture i told her that we'd take the next one here in this same spot in three years when we are cancer free!!
and of course GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!
