Hormone Replacement - Man Style

everyone knows that mr. b has a small interest in guns. he has as long as i've known him. in fact, i've cursed the day over 13 years ago that i (yes, ME) bought him a gun at Kmart. oh well. this weekend, friends RO and PH flew in from up north and joined my Doug and PB for an afternoon of hormone replacement. Doug has developed a friendship with a guy here (the one with the beard) over the past year. He has 150 acres of God's country and has shared his blessing with our family. Not only has our dog Cleo gone out to enjoy the land, all the children (sans baby K and I) have been out for a camp out, a roll in the river or just hot chocolate and pizza with K and his wife. anyway, Doug took the boys out yesterday to shoot his gun. All was going well until RO decided to nail his forehead with the scope. He has a lovely goose egg growing between his eyes. I find it interesting that men have a different way of having 'man time'. my girlfriends and i have always had 'girls day/night out' and you know, we've never had interest in weaponry. i wonder now if RO will opt for a pedicure next time 'round. ha ha... hope you are feeling better RO!!
