out for the evening.

we had already had plans to go to dinner with my folks and introduce them to our friends barb and don. today when we met with the doc we asked if we could keep those plans. doug also told him that tomorrow is opening of deer season and asked if he could go out. both request were met with...'if you feel up to it, go ahead.

so after i picked doug up, we stopped to pick up his van.
went home
big kisses all around from the big kids
made quick dinner for kids and then off for O'Charlies for dinner.

we had such a nice time....we just kind of put life on hold and enjoyed the company! we all enjoyed our meals.
douglas was very hungry...poor guy had only snacked at the hospital.

big girls did a great job of watching the little ones while we were out!
