Sing to the Mountains...Sing to the Sea...Raise your voices....Lift your Hearts

this is truly the day the Lord has made and i am rejoicing like crazy! please join me!
as directed i called dr. Sikora at 7pm.
she took my call directly.
i reiterated to her that i was not satisfied with the radiologists prognosis, she agreed, but said that we have to go to vanderbilt b/c this guy runs the show here in BG.
she again said to me that we mustn't wait to begin treatment while we search for a second opinion. i agreed.
then she asked me when doug's oncology appt was and i told her wed.
she said, "call me back in an hour..i need to make a call".
within 10 minutes SHE called ME back and said the following:
Sheri,
at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning you call Dr. Steve Smith he is an oncologist and a good one.
you will be getting an appt. time for doug
tell doug to come in and be prepared to have his first dose of CHEMO!!!!!!
i about fell over right there standing outside WKU (V was swimming)
She said we don't need to wait and that she was pulling a favor!
oh i love her....if any of you feel compelled to send her a note of thanks:
Dr. Carol Ann Sikora, Graves Gilbert Clinic, BG, KY
i was compelled to come right through the phone and kiss her!
i hung up and called douglas of course.
told him the good news, he sighed and said how happy he was to 'get started'.
oh my big guy.......how stressed out he has to be but he isn't showing it = my brave hubby!! and soon to be bald brave hubby
...anyone knit???? it has gotten chilly here. maybe friend Ken will loan doug that cool orange hat he had on last weekend?? (smile)
hey, CK back in EMO knits right????? can that fancy sewing machine of yours make hats???

nana and papa are due here tomorrow around lunch...good timing eh?
oh thank you thank you thank you....all of you for your prayers!
thank YOU for keeping watch with us
thank YOU for loving us
we are moving forward now....we have clothed ourselves with the whole armor of God and can fight the Battle now!
