wow, i can't believe it is friday. it has been a week since the last chemo. this time has been different. not worse...just different. douglas continues to have pain in his ankles and knees. tonight i installed our vaporizor. the heat has been a bit dry for him and he is getting small nose bleeds in the morning.
we are headed into a busy weekend.
tomorrow is rosary circle - two new women joined last week...and i'm hoping they come back this week so i can meet them. each have four children.... i'll be sure to take my box of animal crackers ..ahahah
tomorrow night while i'm at work my family is expecting to sit down and watch the Pirates Of The Carribien trilogy i suspect that will involve pizza and popcorn.
saturday V has a meet in Nashville, R is doing service project hours at Barnes N Nobles then late in the afternoon she is going to a birthday party/sleepover...(which means when i get off at 10:30 i'll be headed over to pick her up :):) she'll stay up until bed time and then will insist on coming home.
i think i heard douglas say that uncle rick is flying in on saturday??? is that correct???? if so uncle rick...do you think you could swing by Matt's Bakery at the corner of James and Broad and pick us up a loaf or two of Challa bread???? your God daughters would love love love you for it!!!!! right Baba?? :)
Sunday V leaves for a three day stint in teh states capitol for a Youth Government Assembly and i will be participating in my first Cookie Exchange.
i'm sure some of my friends are falling out of their chairs right now about that one!!! i'm not a baker..i love to cook but baking is just too much like chemistry for me!!
i'll be making buckeys of course!!!
R and i made a test batch for Thankgsiving...we have a better understanding and should make a better product this time 'round. if we perfect them...we'll bring some home with us!!

we are coming home for the Holiday...oh, i can just hear James Taylor....'Home For The HOlidays...'
we will be getting in sometime saturday and then leave the day after christmas.
we'll be splitting time between nana's and Joy's. Joy's house is intended to be Douglas' hide out...a quiet...as germ free as possible place for him to sleep and get rest during what will be busy busy times...we are grateful to Joy for her wonderful generous offer....Thanks Joy!!!
one last note: i've laid our son down to bed sans diaper tonight. I did pick up a vinyl mattress cover and a washable chuck this past weekend....hm...could it be because Aunt ROSE the natzi potty patrol was here>>> ha hahah.
if he gets up in the middle of the night...soaking wet...i'm calling her!!!
