night and day of prayer in our house...

douglas and i were nervy last night....we know that today holds the keys to the future of the treatment of his cancer.
power went out last night and we got to enjoy the dark for a while
(thanks goes out to santa that gave us the 'mini generator' we used the light)
we sat by candle light and reminisced about the ice storm three years ago and how cold and awful it was
once it came back on....we sat and watched a very funny but naughty movie (Taledega Nights) and then went to bed.
at about 1:45 Lu decided that she just didn't want to sleep...
she was weepy and and awake....along with a runny nose that makes breathing tough
douglas and i brought her to bed with us and she wiggled her way around the bed for another hour.
up again at 6.
douglas went into work for a bit at 5am to have a leg ready for a patient first thing.
he then is due at the clinic for his scans at 10:30.
today he will have a CT of his chest and a MRI of his tailbone.
we expect great things on friday when we get the results.
big thank you in advance to Mimi who is coming into town so that i can spend time at the hospital with doug!!

JB had to watch that movie for his Religion class at SC High! I can't believe they had to watch that movie and put the characters in the time Jesus lived! WOW!

Our prayers are with you all the time.

Dear B Team:

I'm raising up all my prayers today (as every other day) that today will go well and the results on Friday will be as good if not better than expected.

Thanks Mimi for being there for the B Team. Way....back when I was grateful to you for keeping watch over my daughter. And so many years later I am still grateful for you still being there when she needs you.

Hugs and Kisses all around.
