come on in...the water is great!

our V did it...put her nose to the grind and got her KY A cut...even bettered that time by a second! she now qualifies for state A's in 100 breast! congrats to my kid eh??? she had a stellar day placing 2nd in 100 breast and 6 and 8th in the 200 free and 50 bk. tomorrow is another day of potential qualifiers.
tomorrow we go back to the pool and daddy and Ms R go to their ShootOut. R has been practicing...as one of daddy's patients brought her a 'qualifying' bb gun to practice with..daddy made special targets and away they've gone.
i can't tell you how utterly strange, weird, unsettling it is to see your kid holding a gun..even if it is a bb gun it is strange. i have to work on reconciling that feeling....
going to figure out whats for dinner now.
hubby has had a headache and upset tummy.
took me three stores to find him some club soda...

weekend update
V took 2nd place in backstroke but missed her A cut time...very disappointing but over all this has been her most successful season ever...making BB times in ALL her events...great great job! State A meet is during spring break and we will be unable to attend...but what a great accomplishment to make the cut!!! we wish our RACE team well!
R shot 49 out of 100 and she and her daddy had a nice time just the two of them! she had decided she was not interested in joining the BB team so they just had fun for the shoot out.
R will now move onto Softball season with the county league. mailing out registration this afternoon.
