**************the best part about the whole trip for me was the sitting around. I love love love just hanging out with my family. I managed to go for one hike (just because i thought i'd better)and i went to Mass and my folks and i went to the tourist shoppe so i could get my fridge magnet but other than that....i was perfectly perfectly content to just hang. It felt good to feel like a college student and have a beer with lunch (only ONE!!) I was never really sure of the time because..number one i have no watch and number two the clocks were wrong all over the house because they were EST. but they hadn't been changed from daylight savings...so there was this constant 'what time is it' going on. when i'm home i totally use clock to determine nap schedules...it was interesting to go by the baby's ques instead. I was able to listen to my Rosary tape while i mopped and swept to keep up with my friday group! My cousin made fun of me while i sang to my Bon Jovi songs calling me an 80's throwback!! ha ha...
we had no internet access and no cell phone service (the house had no dialtone) so it was like really being disconnected from the world and the strange thing was ...i was FINE with it. (i did miss my daily email/blog/phonecall routines though)
My folks brought crayons and playdough and that gave all the kids some busy work.

My father brought his golf clubs..do did doug and then Mr. K got to handle his new clubs for a bit. The golf course was closed for repair so the men shot balls off the cliff our house was sitting on. pretty cool!
R and my mother in law had Smoothy Throw Downs for a couple days....those are always really really good!! R was also very happy that her grandpa brought her some Hungarian Sausage.
I forced my Mom and Bert to play scrabble with me....that was a big sacrafice for him..THANK YOU PAPA.

As for my aunt mary, i mentioned above that her car found its way into a ditch. She and Matt took a wrong turn coming into the resort and went down this little embankment....Doug was able to lasoe the car and pull it out with my van and we all got a good chuckle out of it (once we knew they were ok of course) So Uncle John's car and Aunt Susie's chocolate bunny made it safe and sound!! Aunt M taught V how to make her famous Meatloaf! our whole family loves her meatloaf.
(speaking of meatloaf did anyone see Billy Joel's new wife serving Meatloaf to Oprah???)
My sister in law E and I got to spend some time hanging out talking around the hot tub while the wee ones splashed about! It was nice to catch up! (her kids got sick when they got back home also)

the best laugh we had though had to be when Bert donned his brown shorts to strut around the house. it was so so funny. way back when i graduated from highschool, my entire family drove up to Buffalo to attend the ceremony and have some fun. My father and i had a small apt. so everyone stayed at a hotel close by. well, when film got developed 'after the fact'...i found a picture of Bert in these shorts, white Tshirt holding up a Pizza Box as if posing like a statue. I gathered they really had a great time at the hotel...so...all these years..he has saved those shorts...for just such an occasion...to bring them out...to make us laugh....and laught we did!!!
he added the Bollaro hat this year in honor of the real one he bought be to take to Austria when i was an exchange student!!

It was a great great visit! Very memorable!!!
I just can't quit thinking about it...but i must go to bed....
i got back to jazzercise tonight and man...i'm pooped!

We had a fabulous time at the Condo and with all the families. The time did go really fast! It was fun coloring eggs with the kids and watching their little hands at work and the egg hunt was fun as well. It will be one of our most memorable vacations ever!!

Thanks to Sheri for all her hard work.

Love, hugs and kisses:
