fill'em up

Hubby in for his every three week fill up. He is getting his usual Avastin and Zometa today. Dr. Smith is also adding some antibiotics as a cough has developed. In addition, sleep or lack there of will be discussed. so far, he's not had much luck with the ambien or the lunesta...

my baby is home and is sleeping...
he came home with another script for sleeping pills. we'll see how these do...
can i tell you that i was happy to see the word 'generic' on the script...the last sleeping pills were $50 for SEVEN!!!!....
hmmmmmmmmmmmm vote for hillary...what is your candidate going to do to stop the price of medicine - how on earth can someone afford that four times a month...???? that took money right off the dinner table for us...i can't imagine what it does for others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tonight is White Jean Cookie Nite. I've been looking forward to spending a Chico's gift card that i have on a pair of White Jeans. Earlier this year Oprah's fashion segment gave a list of 10 items that are must have staples for a wardrobe. White jeans are on that list. makes sense..a couple years ago the white purse was a big hit....anyway....i made a deal with the girls that i'd go try on some jeans while they eat dinner (i have chili simmer'in and i just need to pull together a batch of corn bread for the oven) and then i'd come back and we'd make cookies.!!
we will be making Oatmeal Raisin (my personal favorite) and Chocolate chip!!

so..............that's our night tonight!!
