i am happy to tell you (and the rest of the world if its listening) that 95 percent of my calls went that way! (which of course makes the calling all the more enjoyable) i had only three folks that flat out didn't want her in the office..and one of those said it was because they didn't want "him" back in the white house...so i told her that we were going to keep "him" in the closet! i had some hang ups..but not too many...and can i say again...these southerners are so damn polite!!! i mean, i've always said the nicest people live in Buffalo...and i really do think that...but i've got to admit that these folks are running a real close second! those three people i mentioned earlier...told me to have a 'reeeeeel niac nat now'..unbelievable!

I had an absolute blast tonight. i made calls from 4-9. Starbucks had donated coffee...yum....and then...i just had to go get 'my girls' a little something something for working so hard for us old folks!! tonight brought back memories of college...going to somebodies election night party down the street from my dorm. i don't remember who it was..but of course i remember what i was wearing..HA! ... i remember the balloons..the food....and the OLD people...man, i'll bet these girls tonight 'think' of me the way i 'thought' of those people way back when.........
i wont' dwell on that though...

I've signed my big girls and I up for a VIZ event,,,on wed. that means we get to stand outside and wave signs and get a little crazy as cars drive by. it will be good for my girls...let them be part of the process!!! I've got a sign for my window and have a button on my (new) Vera. (thanks mom/bert)

It was a way cool night...took me away for a couple of hours....felt good! and maybe...just maybe...20 years from now my girls will be saying..."my mom and me worked on the campaign of the first female president" !! or, at the very least they will say..."my mom and me worked on the campaign for the first female to run for President"...they won't say...for that lady who had an awful husband, or that lady that wasn't this or that!! i feel way good about that! Can i get an AMEN! tee hee...this whole south thing is growing on me!:0

.......................Thank you for all the cards, gifts and well wishes. it really means a great deal to me! i got my cake and ice cream today! Miss R baked me a cake last night and Miss V got me a hula dancer that sits on my dashboard! Lu gave me the gift of being a really good girl at sister's softball game and...well...my son.....he is in a bit of a funk this week...definitely on the inside of the growing spiral..but still gives me kisses and tells me he 'likes' me! Hubby is working on something special that i've asked of him. he is being courageous in his efforts!!!

ok, i'm going to go find the S X and City reruns and drink a beer! everyone is asleep now!
