the last day of school for the big girls is friday, so the past few days we've been Listing out our plans for the summer. The girls usually come up with some great suggestions so it isn't that hard for me.

finger paiting
camping out at ken's (no, i won't be going)

nashville zoo
workbooks (the three oldest should have at least one for the summer, V is concentrating on her algebra and R is concentrating on writing, mr. k will work on a general preschool work book)
paint our cornhole boards
get family portrait
orchard trip
piano lessons for V
then of course: Myrtle Beach, Horseback camp=V, vacation bibleschool=R (i hope tennis camp as well)

i think we have a great list going so far!! we also have a Toddler Activity Book to choose a daily activity from...the girls like to do that with wee ones.
****************

lets see:update on hubby-> antibiotics have reduced the cough somewhat and we of course are thrilled with that progress. sleeping pills are not working any better than the others and he continues to only get four hours of strait sleep and then tosses for a couple hours b4 getting another hour or two of sleep. his weight is steady and he remains loyal to his ensure and vitamin program. leg pain is being managed well with 800mg ibuprofen every four hours and we are particularly thrilled with that!!

Me: i'm waiting to hear from the guy at Macy's as to my training date and my department assignment. i'm anxious to hear....i moved all my winter clothes to the back of the closet and have begun hand me down boxes of kids clothes...(any takers??)

i guess that is it. i have some pictures to post when i put Lu down for her nap!! by the way, she is down to just one nap per day now!! our girl is getting older!!!

kisses to all!!

Sounds like a great summer list!! I might have to steal a few ideas.

I read The Last Lecture last week - loved it.

Hope you get assigned to the handbag department!

the book was good..not too overly emotional (which will make it easier to read for SOME people)
