ok, rosary group done. offered up an intention for no speeding tickets!!
kids clothes are packed; as are bid daddy's and mine. when traveling (to people's homes that i know) i pack in laundry baskets. i take enough to where one winds up being a dirty clothes basket and easily addressed once we get back home.
i've opened up the turtle shell to clean it out and get it ready to put on top of the car.
lu is down for her nap.
i hate this inbetween time...when you think you are ready.....you sit and enjoy the mild panic you feel in your gut that leads you to believe you have forgotten something. you (i) look at my list to be sure that everything is checked off. walk around the house....lock windows...batten down the hatches...
then the time comes to load the van.
we get all a flutter as the children vie for their seats in teh car...get their pillows plumped and their ipods on...
get the wee one's all buckeled....
hubby gets changed and ready to get in car...
we drive away....
down the street just a bit...
oh shit..........i forgot to *(&(*^*%

getting on the road about 3 our time.
hubby passed his pee test this morning so he will be able to
get his drip in about an hour. i hope he will be able to nap....
he'll come home and we'll do the above dance..
i'll dope him up - pour him into his captains seat..
and we'll be our way!!

Glad Doug passed his "test" and got to have a treatment - have a safe trip!!
