broken equipment

two things:

happy birthday to my father....he turned 26 yesterday....... your salt water taffey should arrive today daddy....and i guess, with all those hundreds of dollars you are spending on dental bills you may want to just suck on them....guess i could have thought of something more practical....

heard from radiologist office yesterday, their machine is broken and won't be fixed until next week. hubby is not interested in driving a distance to go to another facility..he will wait until next week. YES of course i argued with him.....but i lost....

worked last night and was first night to have help come over...it went well...but can i tell you a tender little moment i had b4 i left. i was doing my hair in the bathroom and Lu was down for nap...Mr. K was playing so Ms. R came into sit on the pott and talk to me. she got real quiet and welled up with these big ol' tears...her nose got read and she said to me..'you don't trust me to take care of the wee ones'.....oh my gosh...if i could have melted into the floor i would have!!! my big girl has been feeling that the reason i've made arrangements for someone to come over on the nights i work is b/c i don't trust her to take care of things????? !!!!!!!
i told her nothing could be further from the truth..in fact i don't want her to feel like she HAS to be in charge!!! oh, my precious girl!!!
and, as we all know....our kids teach us lessons everyday...i would have never in a million years anticipated that kind of reaction from her...i'm so glad that she was able to be honest with me!!!! wow,,,,my peachy girl...i believe that there is nothing you can't handle....
when daddy got home...he put it this way....
'i trust that you know how to handle the rifle...but i'm not going to send you into the woods to bring back dinner'!!!

i hear the troops waking up...going to go!!
