its been a tough weekend for my guy. i'm not going lesson his courage! there is a pain in his side ( and NO it isnt' me)(he always lists 'i'm married' on his pain management sheets at the doctor's when he fills out the questionnaire regarding pain)(he keeps his humor!!) and despite consistent use of pain meds/anti inflammatory he was unable to get on top of this new pain. we are of course hopeful that the radiation is going to take care of this...but until he can get in and under the gun...the poor man waits. he is at work right now...he didn't wind up talking to his boss Friday...so he is doing that this morning.....this is so very very difficult for him. He is traditional in his perspective of 'the man to support his family'. I try to reassure him that we will be just fine!!! we have such generous family and friends...and the Love of our Lord!! what can we fear???
i'd like to add for those that are worried..i reached out to our parish nursing staff and have accepted meals/childcare on the nights that i am working. my rosary group prayed for me to have an open/humble heart...and i guess i listened. I'm feeling very comfortable with working..knowing that there will be a mom here to get the kids fed and situated for the evening!!! it also feels good to know that my big girls won't feel the need to 'be in charge'...that is something i worry about....
so, i have a big to do list this week....mailing birthday presents to nana and my father...both of them celebrate birthdays this week. gotta get our packages in the mail to ms. v at camp...f/u with Paul to see how the renters are moving along with getting out......i heard there was a moving van sighted in the area...but alas..no call to say it had pulled up into our drive way.....Ms. R and i did the meal planning for the week so we need to go to our Aldi....perhaps find a friend to go swimming with....it has been over 90 the past few days.....
ok, talk to you all later!!
