one tough cookie....but i'll bet they'll make her crumble.

i've been asked by quite a few folks around here (including a few at Murphs last night) about my thoughts on Palin....(McBush..oops...McCain's VP running mate) i've not had a ton of time looking up her voting record to be honest with you all...and what i know thus far is what i've been able to droll up on the internet. with that said...
i have two comments:

1...OF COURSE he chose a woman........DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH look at the women's groups that came out in droves to support Hillary (me included) that will now have to consider their whole lack of penis thought process....and the value of those votes...in addition....would you have not lost ALL respect for his campaign adivisors if they would have NOT let him pick a gal!!????

2..... she is has been pretty tough...she has absolutly come out of nowhere with both boxing gloves on....but...being able to fight 'the man' in washington is way different that relying on the local judge to support your hiring/firing decisions. i think, that all in all...politicians go into public service with a good heart with a passion to change the world....make it a better place....sing Kum Ba Yah and all...but the reality is when they get to washington...the game begins...and they have to decide then just WHICH values they will give up IN ORDER to survive....

oh...and last minute comment comes NOT from me...but WOW what a great question....

'Has 'the best' speaker ever NOT won the Presidential election'????

i'll buy the person with the answer to this question a Vivano!!!

hugs...off to the pool to 'get the pig'....

Look at Pelosi's comments on abortion!

Obama said in his speach
that he would like to limit the number of abortions! How nice!! So did Pelosi.

Don't you watch EWTN and listen to what Fr.Pacwa says?

Pro life all the way!

Way to go McCain!

Republicans rule. We have compassion for people who are going to experience true devastion and the loss of life!

Republicans are going to raise money for the people in need at their convention.

We need to pray for the victims of Gustav! We are Americans First.

If Sarah Palin "crumbles like a cookie," then I would hate to be on of those " reduced buns in the oven" IF Obama is elected!

John McCain's running mate Sarah Palin said Monday that her 17-year-old unmarried daughter is five months pregnant, an announcement campaign aides said was aimed at rebutting Internet rumors that Palin's youngest son, born in April, was actually her daughter's.
Pro-Life what about abstinence!

Obama said ,"I have two daughters and we all make mistakes. I DO NOT WANT MY DAUGHTERS TO BE PUNISHED(PUNISHED) WITH HAVING A BABY!)

BABIES ARE PUNISHMENTS?

Anonymous said...

Obama'a parents did not feel abstinence was an option. They were not married. They must have thought he was a "mistake" or "punishment" at the time?

"This is the pro-life choice. The fact that people will criticize her for this shows the astounding extent to which the secular critics of the pro-life movement just don't get it," Land said.

"We have always encouraged the parents to love and support their children and always advised the girls to see their pregnancies through, even though there will of course be challenges along the way. That is what the Palins are doing, and they should be commended once again for not just talking about their pro-life and pro-family values, but living them out even in the midst of trying circumstances.

Being a Christian does not mean you're perfect. Nor does it mean your children are perfect. But it does mean there is forgiveness and restoration when we confess our imperfections to the Lord." Dobson said.

1)George Bush was not a good speaker...and he won twice!
2) While abstinence would be ideal, it's not always the parents fault, but, letting the fetus (baby!) continue to live reflects on the family's values!
3) I'm not so sure that all of the Hilliary supporters were "supporters"...maybe they just didn't like their other choice!
4) Go McCain and Palin!
5) Pro Life!!!!
6) You're ALL incredible! Even though our views vary!!

WELL SAID!!!

Yes I think it is great she is supporting her daughter! But what kind of message is this sending out to our young people. this has nothing to do with pro-life! Everyone was up in arms when Jaime-Lynn Spears was pregnant! How about we tell our kids to not have sex. And I assume Sarah Palin is a good parent! I just think it's time to say that getting pregnant at 17 is not acceptable!

Palin herself said she opposes funding sexual-education programs in Alaska.

"The explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support," she wrote in a 2006 questionnaire distributed among gubernatorial candidates.

(maybe if her daughter had sex-ed she would have used a condom or someother form of birth control) Or maybe Sarah needs to pay more attention to her kids. Who will be raising her kids if she makes it to the white house? And big deal she has 5 kids and she works!!
I know plenty of working mothers. And i also know plenty of women that would also have kept their baby if they knew it was born with a disability!!!! Maybe if we educate our children more and talk about sex-ed and abstinence we can help prevent abortion ! Education can help solve plenty of issues!

Sheri..you bad bad girl. You did use the bad bad four letter word in your August 28th blog about the "damn" mattress. I sure hope your children don't read this blog as I am sure they have never heard this word before...or watched TV or seen a movie. And for the adults reading the blog on an hour to hour basis, please censor before your children read the blog in the future for fear they might learn a new word.
