We're In!!!

Hubby is scheduled to see Dr. Villanola-Calero on the 21st at 3pm.
(calling all babysitters!!! will need someone at the house that day!!)

now the record hunt begins. i need to have records faxed and mailed.
from every doctor that hubby has seen/every report/every pathology block....
i've made most of the calls..hasn't been too bad really!
Vanderbilt has its own way of doing things so i can't just call them..some hoops have to be jumped through...but they aren't too small for me!!

the esophageal spasms have begun. we were told to expect the around the middle of teh radiation sessions. indeed, we're there. hubby is unable to really swallow much beyond some pop and pills. i picked up a 'magic mouthwash' last night at the pharmacy and that seemed to help a bit...but hubby had a session of upset stomach that didn't feel so good. he slept ok, and was in to the office by 10 this morning.
he is so damn brave i tell you!!! you all have no idea the will power this man of mine has!!! i'm amazed!! and i'm humbled really!!

you may have seen from V's comment that she was sadly notified that the volley ball team will not come together for her grade. she will be able to play field hockey...(yeah, i played that one year) but she is doubly disappointed b/c she was expecting to be team captain here....she will be swimming also...but the volleyball is a tough blow..i know that the team at highschool is pretty tough...R's grade will have a team from what i hear...so that is great!!! we're excited and made sure that last night when we were packing that we put her shin guards right where they can be found once we arrive home! we'll also be investigating the acting program there at parks and recs again!!

lets see...our walls are lined with boxes...
Rose has made her flight arrangements to come down that last weekend.
i secretly think that there are people that don't' trust that i will get everything boxed up....

just hung up from The James...what nice nice people there!
Rose...are you being paid as a spy??? ha ha...
will be glad to have the company on the drive back!!
