first..we will have no electricity today..if you call you will get voicemail.
call the cell phone if you need us right away. the electric angels are here to run our 200 amp panel.
second.. i had a fabulous supper last night with 'the cousins'. they are actually my second cousins..but know them as if they were first..they are just older than me...thats all. anyway....there was six of us. i ordered myself a grey goose and oj...(in honor of my girls down south) and then had a fillet and scampi...very tasty. but the big news of the night was....i totally get my political interest honestly. most of us last night had a firm opinion on a party line or a political interest. that is not to say that we all agreed...quite the opposite..i would say that give a questionnaire..we would find that there were perhaps three distinct mind sets. I had a blast talking about the issues.!!!
had to laugh, one of the girls said across the table..i remember when sheri would debate with my dad when she was in college. i said,,,oh my gosh..that is when i was a 'young republican'..now known as a Reagan democrat..:)
they've invited me to join them again next month!! it was so much fun!!!
nana was here with the wee ones and it she fared just fine..i think the trick is to go down to the basment...keep them contained...ha!
this evening hubby and i will be taking ms R to get a new bicycle for her 11th birthday. thank you aunt mary for coming over to babysit while we go!!

I'm confused...how did you support Reagan...and now Obama? They are so different.
well, i'd have to go back and look at the 'thousand points of light' speech...i'm sure there was something there that appealed to me....
