just say 'ahhhhhhhh'

took a little bit of time...and with patience came the reward....our friendly electricians were here for a couple days getting the electrical systems upgraded to accommodate the hot tub and the additional dryer/washer and they finished just b4 the big kids got out of school. from there it was a four hour wait for the temp of the water to rise to a comfortable temperature. by 8 o'clock it was ready to go. i gathered up suits, slippers, robes and towels in secret...or as quietly as possible so i wasn't discovered... that of course didn't last long as you'll see in the picture..but we did get a good 20 minutes together alone in the tub!!
i wish you all could have seen hubby's face when he sat down in the hot water. i tell you, i haven't seen him feel such relief in quite some time. i could see how his body just relaxed and gave into the wonderful warm feeling of the water. he even let out a little sigh...so so sweet and so so so thankful!!!!!!!!!
we played with the jets and the lights for a little bit of time...but soon a little toe head found his way up from the playroom and out onto the back patio....within just a few minutes he was naked and in the water...within just a few more minutes we added two more girls to the mix....hubby and i just smiled at one another...
....then.........the power went out....darn it...we blew the circuit....
we got out of the water and put the tub to rest. we aren't exactly sure what happened but i'll call today to find out...the hot tub guy should be out...
in the mean time...just say 'aahhhhhh'!!
