just had a moment in my kitchen with my son.
me = futzin' around the kitchen
mr. k = in front of the kitchen tv watching the bald Canadian kid
mr. k says 'you know how daddy talks in dreams?'
me yeah, i do. did he talk to you?
mr. k says 'he was talking to an old man'
me what where they saying?
mr. k ' the old man told daddy he had to stay'
me 'oh, what did the old man look like'
mr. k ' he has big feets and big ears and a big tummy'
do you think God looks like santa clause????
i am just numb right now but wanted to share this with you all...
last night was a rough night for me...and i wonder if my darling douglas was worried about me....was he asking to come back....does he want to be here to help with the kitchen...
is this just crazy?????
my faith is renewed ....i hope that maybe this brings some comfort to you.

I DO believe loved ones that have passed can come to you through a dream...that must bring you both comfort and sadness, all at the same time. I have heard that younger children have not "learned" to deny an experience like this yet, making it more likely that the contact will be made through them. That is SO neat...what a gift he just gave you!

Cool. Just cool. I believe in signs too as well as dreams. Turned on my car radio today and it was on an oldies station and the first song that played was Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum. Not sure how many are old enough to remember that song but I am, and it is a long favorite of mine. It has even more special meaning to me now and for a moment it lifted me and I am going to use it to get me through what is going to be a hard Thanksgiving. Thought I would share. I totally believe that dream is a communication as well.
