Ring No Answer

Hubby says HI to all those who are trying to get in touch with him. I've had people find their way to my cell phone expressing concern that they are trying to reach hubby on his cell but getting no answer/response. I want to let all of you who are getting the ring no answer that he is fine...but we've seemed to misplace his cell phone. and now that it is turned off/battery dead we can't just call it and listen for it to ring.

Please know that we 'know' you are out there and that i'll keep this blog updated as much as possible. Also know that my email address is on the left hand side of the blog and we are listed with the phone company.

For those of you that are former patients of hubby's, and i've been told that there are some of you out there....GET UP and WALK!! You know as well as I do that he would be pushing you right along if he could be there...so...you've got to keep that spirit alive and get up and walk!!! and..even more so now that walking has become difficult for him...you have to walk for him!! perhaps you call all keep each other upright through effort!!

Today is an important day around here. In a couple short hours there will be a videographer here to do interviews with hubby and each of the girls. i hope that you join me in a quick prayer this morning that everyone can keep their wits about them and that everyone hears what they need to hear! It is interesting...both girls have known about today...and both expressed some....light concern/hesitation about it...but i'm sure with the grace of God...it is going to be just fine!! Memories will be made!!! Bandaids for future hurts will be formed and our girls will forever know just how very much their daddy loved them!!

Mr. K and Lu were up at the crack this morning....and i'm ready to switch to my diet pepsi and it ain't even 8am yet....well....just as buffet kind of says...it's 8 am somewhere!!! :)

We are quickly approaching Turkey day....and we are pulling everyones schedules together....i KNOW that i have to be home at Three o'clock on WED for the Pilgrims to arrive!!! for those of you not in the hood,,you must know that we have real live Pilgrims around... and those pilgrims are delivering a thanksgiving feast for our family!! I've been instructed...(though 'warned' is a better word :) to just sit back and enjoy our family time and not be worried about cooking!! alright...i CAN do that!! i'll have to find an indian costume somewhere to pretend i'm one of those natives that the Pilgrims came to share with....but...i'll have to come up with some maize to share....or beads...or horns o plenty...

ok nana..put your thinking cap on...i know you can come up with something cool here!!

also today, mr. k is going on a field trip to a local florist.. it is so interesting to me how Literal the world is to four year olds. yesterday i kept telling him that he was going to go on a 'field trip'...and he would turn and look at me and say 'mom....i'm not going on a 'field' trip...i'm going to the flower shop! i think we forget sometimes that these little people take our words as they understand them to be...not necessarily how we intend them to be interpreted....
