at rosary group and my bible study yesterday...i think that we agreed that God's Will Be Done, and at the end of the day..this fractionating and dissension among Catholics must stop.

wasn't the SNL show last night great?!! how funny to recall Jimmy, Ronny and then Dukakis??? brought back many memories....with each of those elections my head was flooded with snip-its of my/our past life.
but...Dukakis...that made me smile.....

I just got home from casting my vote! The wait (5-10 minutes) wasn't long, but it was busier than I've ever seen it. This morning, there was a long line, so I'm glad we waited until this afternoon...we must have hit it just right! I don't know what it is about going in and voting, but it sure makes me feel good!
I agree with you Barb! You do get a good feeling of making some type of difference! Great pictures. I heard starbucks was giving free coffee if you have I voted sticker!

I took my book and ipod, hoping for an hour wait...no dice! walked in, voted..and right on out.
what an amazing election to watch and participate in. I missed the free Starbucks, burritos, ice cream but that's okay...when the economy picks up, I'll be able to afford it!
