chapter 1 and the teenager

our first family night meeting had a minor blip but finished off well i would say.
we talked about what the family night meeting could look like and we read the first chapter in 7 habits book together.
we discussed emotional bank accounts deposits (one of the things i miss most of my husband) and created a bank account jar where we'll put our paper deposits. not forever...but for a little bit of time.
we don't have to do a chapter a week...but we do have to come together to plan/talk/share/pray.

it is my hope that we will become a more effective team....getting everyone's needs addressed....creating road maps to accomplish our goals.....

i love the title of the first chapter....You are going to be Off Track 90 percent of the Time. So What?

Emotional Bank Account deposits:

Being Kind
Apologizing
Being Loyal to those not present
Making and Keeping promises
Forgiving

anyone familiar with this???

I am soooo excited that you took action and are doing this. As you know, we have done this with our family and it works awesome. Covey is a great mentor, wonderful ideas. Continue to put his suggestions into action :)
