update...

aunt mary's chest pains (after a long night in the hospital and a stress test) was a result of scar tissue from mastectomies.

Pops (my father) had successful surgery on his eyes. perhaps you have noticed that he had one wandering eye....in order to correct that - the muscle in the other eye is cut and lengthened...the surgeon called me right after he was done....


FLEETWOOD MAC is coming.......who wants to take me??? :)) just saw a commercial....i've seen Stevie b4 in NY...i remember it was probably my first real date..my mom took me shopping for an outfit and i remember getting this very faint lilac Gunne Sac two piece suit.
we had floor seats and i was in heaven.

Later...MUCH LATER....as a grown up mother of two i went to see Stevie again here with papa...her music is timeless for me and when i hear it I am shuttled back to a time when all was innocent....

on that same entertainment note...i am currently looking for a date to see Spring Awakening. It is grown up play with a capital G. I have tickets for a tuesday evening next month...if you wanna go with me..email me!!

today begins a new chapter in my life....(or perhaps really just a new paragraph) i will be attending my first Yoga class at the gym i joined. now, if any of you have ever had the yoga conversation with me...you know that it isn't the actual class that concerns me....it is the fact that i get gripped with fear that...that ...that i will just let out this roaring fart as we are all silently bent over listening to some mood music...i've only taken ONE class ever in the past....i did Pilates in the safety of my own living room...so...who knew??? i'm not going to eat anything gas producing prior to the class. it is late this morning. i know it is gross....

i hope to begin interviewing babysitters next week. I'm fortunate to have a girlfriend who is very much a childcare expert help me discern the profiles and develop good interview questions. the first round will take place at a local coffee shop and my daughter R wants to don a disguise and sit in the booth behind me to listen.....
