another one down

feeling better...did wind up going to work out yesterday...get the endorphins going my father said.
got that holiday under my belt.
i seem to recall my aunt saying things about holidays and missing my GG...when it is the first without someone..it is hard...

last night was nice.
mimi and pete came out to spend the evening
pete did some 'husband work' for me. license plates on the car, curtain rod in the bedroom, and he sat himself on the couch with MR. K and watched Batman.
the other night mr k was saying how he just wanted to lay in bed and watch a movie with his daddy...

well, we did the best we could and did the couch and uncle pete!!

of course we all got a laugh when Lu came down to uncle pete to get her diaper changed....she was poopy and mimi and i were in the hot tub....that was funny.

i'm doing something today that i haven't done in a while...i'm going to meal plan...haven't done that since the week b4 doug died. i love planning out meals and then prepping throughout the day.

the nanny search continues....i did make an offer...however the gal was being interviewed by another family as well....perhaps that family had more to offer...
the agency sent me new profiles and i hope to continue interviewing this week.

also, on plan is the tax guy....i see him this week as well. that is a task that my husband has always taken care of...so, this should be interesting...

then this weekend is the big pool partayyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN NOT wait...but...my parents were invited..so they are going also!! ....you know...my mothers other best friends are my best friends...tee heheee heee...

ms v's troop is offering babysitting services that night to anyone attending the party (although i know there is the wine tasting at the same time which would count of course) all proceeds from babysitting will be put into the kitty for their chicago trip in the spring. you can call me if you are interested in reserving a scout team to babysit.

so...gonna get ready for mass and head out...
the sun is out (or at least peaking through the clouds)
gonna put a kewl song on my ipod and take a spin out to the grocery.
