spent the evening at the theater seeing the musical Spring Awakening.....
the show has earned several Tony awards and it is perfectly clear why!!!
what a show!!!! (a grown up show for sure,,,but what a show)
for me, it was like a grown up version of our own 'Breakfast Club'.
it brings back memories of that all consuming first love.
the kind of love that paralyzes any and all logical thought.
the kind of love that makes your blood feel like it is riding on the outside of your veins.
the kind of heartbreak that really really HURTS your heart....breaks through your chest and erupts up your throat.
the choreography was quirky at times but spot on. very much reminded me of a piece i performed in college....lots of 90 degree angles
it had one whole song dedicated to my favorite F word!!!!!
it showed the ramifications of the elimination of choice!!
i did expect it to be a little political...it wasn't.
i had a wee glass of Dom and considered purchasing the soundtrack....but...twenty bucks...i'll be i can find it cheaper somewhere else...probably on itunes.
i wore my winter version of my white jeans that make me look hot....my winter HOT pants are these pair of olive Lauren chinos that i unearthed at an outlet mall...they totally give me good boot-ay!!!
i highly recommend this show.
would make a great Valentine gift...and if you go...you have to promise me that you hold hands during the show.

1. i continue to interview nannys...another one tomorrow and then another on saturday
2. congrats were offered to my V for earning a wonderful scholarship for highschool
3. both my big girls are going to play Lacrosse...i'm excited for them
4. I've taken some more yoga classes but have added weights and treadmill...i like Ben the Trainer...very nice guy,,half my size and half my age...red headed former Marine....
5. all members of my family seem to be in reasonable health...
6. i had water come in the house due to the thaw the other day.
7. i am hosting a Premier Jewelry party the day after ash wed. if i have your email...expect an invite...Premier is a super cute line of High Fashion jewelry...all at a reasonable price point...
8. still haven't been asked to go to see Fleetwood Mac....:(
