ok, i'm a girl....i love musicals...(not that you can tell)
tonight ms. v and i had our date at the theatre...and we saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang....it was super!! the car flew...i remembered the songs....my daughter smiled occasionally....at intermission we roamed the theater to see the art work...came out to a nice evening walk to the car....
nice indeed....TOOT SWEET!!
unfortunately timing wasn't everything and i missed ms. R's class musical. i will post some pics tomorrow....sounds like it was a huge hit!! she was darling of course...thanks to Baba the costume maker!!!! i love you my peach!! and your flowers are lovely!
pink eye update: Mr. K's look normal..Lu on the other hand was goopy this morning. started her right away on the drops so perhaps we will have under control quickly. i'm not sure what was up with the two of them last night...but...they had me up about four times.....
went to bed alone....

Lu screams again....i just pull her out of the crib and lay her down in mr. k's bed and i snuggle up next to her.....

tomorrow evening i've been invited to dinner with my folks and a professional friend of theirs. going to the Monk....can't wait.....i'm hungry for some reeeeellll food...and a goose and tonic!! Note to BG girls...this is my new drink of choice....with a wedge of lemon.... all YOUR fault!! forget the girly foo foo calorific drinks....although...when i'm feeling naughty..i'm sure i'll still get a shot n beer...:):) just haven't felt that way in a long long long time.....
in the meantime however...
mimi and amy f started a small demo project in my kitchen. we are tearing out the yellow tile and putting up that silver back splash material...it is way cool....and you know,,,it is a reasonably priced way to make a huge change...kind of like paint....do you think i can talk them into to tiling the floor with me???? hmmmmmm....the kitchen would be done then......
ok, i'm off to read....and get some ZZZZZZZZzzzz's...
also, banning of tv/computer until dark was not such a bad thing...i mean really...we all survived....wonder what i'd do w/o cable tv??? we've done that b4 as well...just a thought....

Sounds like a great evening, S. You did miss a wonderful musical about girl power tonight though - forget the Presidents; it was/is the women behind them, right, Miss R?! Miss R "was the bomb", as they say here in the hood! And kelly green is definitely her color! Too sweet! Have fun at the Monk. Have a drink for me will ya girlfriend? And yes, I am up late! Too late! PaPa and I soooooo enjoyed the play. Ms. R was absolutely fantastic. She is a natural and so comfortable on stage...as they say....it seems to be her oyster.
I agree....the dress couldn't have been more perfect....BaBa you are bomb...do they say that anymore????? Mr. K sat down in front of the stage with the other kids. The most precious moment was when Ms. R was performing ...he looked up at her and blew her a kiss. OMG it was a moment to behold. And she saw him which made it even more special.
Am so glad the musical was wonderful.
So sorry the kids were up last night...maybe there will be rest for mommy tonight.
Looking forward to the Monk too.

I failed to mention how wonderful all the SC kids did last night. I believe that was the best one we've attended. The kids all looked like they were having fun as well. GOOD JOB!!!!!!!
