nana successfully arrived at the rehabilitation center late yesterday afternoon. she compared the ride in the ambulance to a ride in an apple cart.....
they had her all checked in and doped up within an hour or so which i thought was pretty good..

she got up and went to the potty twice by bedtime and has a walker to assist her mobility...

we are on the road to recovery...
too bad her window faces the wrong way for fireworks tonight...

i on the other hand am dressed and ready to head out the door for my first 5k race. actually, i'm not viewing it as a 5k RACE....i'm not racing anyone....just going to finish strong....

i've eaten and apple but am afraid to drink any water cuz i'm afraid i'll have to pee....and i peed in the woods the last time..but i wouldn't dare this morning.....

it will be over quickly....

as for the rest of the day...poolside for dogs and drinks....

Thank God for our Freedom...
