The Ave Maria Academy Wine and Cheese had to be postponed but Mimi came out anyway..had some super duper BBQ.
i've decided to call my sales rep at the furniture store..
i just don't like the leaf.
i think i will order the table at 72 inches rather than the 60 that it is right now and then forgo the leaf...
we fit fine at the table tonight for supper..but it was tight.
we all sat down and i said
'welcome to bob evans..can i take your order'..
was funny.
i like the shallowness of the table for sure...but the lenght isn't working for me..
i'm kicking myself for not running tonight.
the roads were fine and the temp was really perfect...i could have worn my new sleeves rather than a coat...
and i'm totally jay-lose of the girls that did!!
way to go ladies!!!
tomorrow is District Swimmeet at OSU for ms. V...
she is nervous and excited!
she told me tonight she wants to go back to club and not play LAX this spring...
i asked douglas to talk to her....
not b/c i don't want her to swim club...i'll find the money...and there is a newer club that is way close and small and the coach is a former Olympian in Backstroke...so whats not to like..
she just got a little 'burned' at volleyball in the fall.
bench sitting in public isn't easy...and i think she is way worried about that with LAX this spring.
i just don't want her to shy away because she is scared!!
on the other hand...she's a decent swimmer...and this kid has never complained about it!! i mean at the ripe age of 10 she was up at 6am for meets at 7am..and swam almost everyday...for hours at a time...and just loved it...i also like the fact that it can be a bit safer..
her decision to make...
a tough place to be as a mommy.
darn that douglas...this is again one of those times......

V - Wishing you GOD speed at your meet. Not sure if that is the right phrase to use here.....but it sounded good...just like it fit. And about your summer decision.....do what makes you happy...lets see....land and a stick....or water, sun, tan, improvement in a sport you love...heck....it's your decision.
