ohla....
hubby went for his PET this am and then shuffled over to the radiologist office to wait on results. the doc took him into HIS office...the inner sanctum....(i had to smile at that) and showed hubby the scan. lung tumor can stand some radiation and teh knee pain is coming from the nerve bundles at teh sacrum creating pressure OR its the residual chemo....good news...there is no presence of tumors there!!! YIPPY!! hubby will therefore begin radiation to the lung and the sacrum next week. also, this afternoon he will be having 'the conversation' with his boss. please send up some comforting prayers for my guy. this has been the BEST job he's ever had (his words) and he is so very sad to have to give it up.......
to celebrate good news...kids and i are off to macy's...one day sale!!!! i've been stalking
i am also waiting to hear from maintenance man....the plumbing under my kitchen sink including the garbage disposal is leaking....i turned on the garbage disposal a little bit ago and it sprayed out the doors...GROSS....

Doug: You are in my thoughts and prayers this afternoon (as well as every other hour in the day) - anyhow I know you loved your job and they loved you. You have always given 110% to everything you have ever attempted and they will find it extremely difficult to find another one like you. I am and have always been very proud of you. BG will never be the same when the B Team heads back home. I love you!!!

Thrilled to the heavens about your test and, of course, in our thoughts and prayers each and every day long.
Your co. will never, never find anyone to replace you and terribly sorry that you have to leave. We know you loved your job and the people there worshiped the ground you walked on. But things will work out just like your health is doing. Your whole family will be remembered for a long time to come for all the great things you've done there.
